Friend of the Devil Intro Tab


“Friend of the Devil” by The Grateful Dead is a great example of using the major scale patterns taught in Fretboard Theory. It’s one of the easiest major scale songs to play because the run is simply the G major scale played backward. Also, the tempo isn’t too fast which is good for guitarists who are just getting started with major scale melodies, riffs, lead guitar solos and bass lines.
