In the free video lessons below, you learn how to play the acoustic guitar solos featured in the song “Amie” by Pure Prairie League. The solos are good examples of using pentatonic scale patterns for guitar. Because of the techniques in this song, you will need to be at an intermediate playing level or higher, especially if you want to have any luck playing the second solo in the song.
These free videos were recorded years ago by a student of mine. I do not have guitar tab but I break down each part and play it slowly, so you should have no trouble following along.
